Wale Hicks
The Right Reverend John Wale Hicks, FRCP, DD was an Anglican Bishop,〔(Rev Patrick Comerford )〕 educationalist and author in the second half of the nineteenth century.〔“Who was Who” 1897–2007 London, A & C Black, 2007 ISBN 978-0-19-954087-7〕 He was identified with the Anglo-Catholic school of Anglicanism.

He was born in 1840 and studied at the University of London〔''University Intelligence.
